Are you going through a crisis, feeling anxious or low ? Or do you feel you are stuck in a pattern of unhelpful behaviours? It can be helpful to explore these difficulties with a trained professional. Friends and family may try to help but you might not feel able to share your concerns with them for fear of not being understood or burdening them. Or it might be that the difficult thoughts you have are just too private to share with them.
Emotional and psychological wounds differ from physical ones: If we break a bone we know that if it is wrapped in plaster and rested after time it will heal. However, with difficult thoughts and feelings this is not the case. We can find ourselves feeling unhappy or anxious sometimes without any obvious ‘reason’ and these worries sometimes hang around when we feel they should be gone.

I have over 15 years experience of offering short and long term therapy. I aim to offer a non - judgemental relationship in a safe setting in which to explore and hopefully grasp more fully the things that are troubling you. Hopefully together we can understand what might help you feel able to live life more ‘authentically’.
As well as being a professional requirement it is important for me to be up to date and well informed in therapy theory and practice. I therefore regularly attend workshops and training courses and I would describe my way of working as Integrative.
